حَدَّثَنَا رَوْحٌ , قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامٌ , عَنِ شُمَيْسَةَ أَنَّهَا كَانَتْ عِنْدَ عَائِشَةَ , فَقَامَ إِلَيْهَا إِنْسَانٌ , فَقَالَ : يَا أُمَّ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ مَا تَقُولِينَ فِي نَبِيذِ الْجَرِّ ؟ فَقَالَتْ : " نَهَى نَبِيُّ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَنْ نَبِيذِ الْجَرِّ " .
It is narrated from Umm al-Mu'mineen Hazrat Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) forbade sleeping in a water jar.
