حَدَّثَنَا رَوْحٌ , قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ , قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا مَالِكُ بْنُ عُرْفُطَةَ , قَالَ أَبِي : وَإِنَّمَا هُوَ خَالِدُ بْنُ عَلْقَمَةَ , قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ عَبْدَ خَيْرٍ يُحَدِّثُ , عَنْ عَائِشَةَ , عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنَّهُ " نَهَى عَنِ الدُّبَّاءِ وَالْحَنْتَمِ وَالْمُزَفَّتِ " , قَالَ أَبُو عَبْد الرَّحْمَنِ : قَالَ أَبِي : إِنَّمَا هُوَ خَالِدُ بْنُ عَلْقَمَةَ الْهَمْدَانِيُّ , وَهِمَ شُعْبَةُ.
It is narrated from Umm al-Mu'mineen Hazrat Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) forbade the use of vessels called hantam and muzaffat during an epidemic.
