حَدَّثَنَا رَوْحٌ , حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ , قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا سُلَيْمَانُ , عَنْ خَيْثَمَةَ , عَنْ أَبِي عَطِيَّةَ ، قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ عَائِشَةَ ، تَقُولُ : إِنِّي لَأَعْلَمُ كَيْفَ كَانَتْ تَلْبِيَةُ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ , قَالَ : ثُمَّ سَمِعْتُهَا تُلَبِّي بَعْدَ ذَلِكَ " لَبَّيْكَ اللَّهُمَّ لَبَّيْكَ , لَبَّيْكَ لَا شَرِيكَ لَكَ لَبَّيْكَ , إِنَّ الْحَمْدَ وَالنِّعْمَةَ لَكَ " , قَالَ أَبِي : أَبُو عَطِيَّةَ اسْمُهُ مَالِكُ بْنُ حَمْزَةَ.
Hazrat Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) says that I know best how the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) used to recite the Talbiyah. Then she repeated the words of the Talbiyah: "Labbayk, labbayka Allahumma labbayk, labbayka la sharika laka labbayk, innal-hamda wan-ni‘mata laka."
