Urwah reports that someone asked Hazrat Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her), "What did the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) do in his house?" She replied, "He did what any one of you does; the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) would mend his own sandals and patch his own clothes."
