حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ يُوسُفَ , قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا مِسْعَرٌ , عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ مُرَّةَ , عَنْ أَبِي الضُّحَى ، عَنْ مَسْرُوقٍ , قَالَ : حَدَّثَتْنِي الصِّدِّيقَةُ بِنْتُ الصِّدِّيقِ , حَبِيبَةُ حَبِيبِ اللَّهِ الْمُبَرَّأَةُ " أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَانَ يُصَلِّي رَكْعَتَيْنِ بَعْدَ الْعَصْرِ , فَلَمْ أُكَذِّبْهَا " .
Masruq says that the truthful daughter of the truthful, the beloved of Allah (peace be upon him), and the one free from every accusation, narrated to me that the Prophet (peace be upon him) used to pray two rak'ahs after Asr, therefore I cannot deny her statement.
