It is narrated from Hazrat Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that if the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) were to conceal any verse from the revelation that was sent down to him, he would have concealed this verse "which was related to his own self": "And remember when you were saying to the one upon whom Allah had bestowed favor and you had bestowed favor, 'Keep your wife with you and fear Allah,' while you were concealing within yourself that which Allah was to disclose, and you were fearing the people, whereas Allah has more right that you should fear Him." And Allah's command is sure to be fulfilled."
