حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ , قَالَ : أَخْبَرَنَا زَكَرِيَّا , عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ ، عَنِ الْأَسْوَدِ , عَنْ عَائِشَةَ , قَالَتْ : " كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِذَا أَرَادَ أَنْ يُحْرِمَ ادَّهَنَ بِأَطْيَبِ دُهْنٍ يَجِدُهُ , حَتَّى إِنِّي لَأَرَى بَصِيصَ الدُّهْنِ فِي شَعَرِهِ , وَلَقَدْ كُنْتُ أَفْتِلُ قَلَائِدَ الْهَدْيِ لِرَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ , ثُمَّ يَبْعَثُ بِهِ فَمَا يَعْتَزِلُ مِنَّا امْرَأَةً " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that I used to apply the best perfume I had to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), and it is as if that scene is still before my eyes that I would see the shine of musk on the head of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) while he was in the state of Ihram. And I used to twist the collars of the Prophet’s (peace and blessings be upon him) animal, that is, the goat, and even after sending it, the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) would not prevent himself from being with any woman.
