Hadith 25989

حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ , قَالَ : أَخْبَرَنَا زَكَرِيَّا , عَنْ عَامِرٍ , عَنْ شُرَيْحِ بْنِ هَانِئٍ , عَنْ عَائِشَةَ , عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ : " مَنْ أَحَبَّ لِقَاءَ اللَّهِ , أَحَبَّ اللَّهُ لِقَاءَهُ , وَمَنْ كَرِهَ لِقَاءَ اللَّهِ , كَرِهَ اللَّهُ لِقَاءَهُ , وَالْمَوْتُ قَبْلَ لِقَاءِ اللَّهِ " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: Whoever loves to meet Allah, Allah loves to meet him, and whoever dislikes to meet Allah, Allah dislikes to meet him. And before meeting Allah, there is death.
