Hadith 25974

حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْأَعْلَى , حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدٌ وَيَزِيدُ , قَالَ : أَخْبَرَنَا سَعِيدٌ , عَنْ قَتَادَةَ , عَنْ صَفِيَّةَ بِنْتِ شَيْبَةَ , عَنْ عَائِشَةَ " أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَانَ يَغْتَسِلُ بِالصَّاعِ , وَيَتَوَضَّأُ بِنَحْوِ الْمُدِّ " . .
It is narrated from Hazrat Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) would perform ablution with about one mudd of water and would perform ghusl with about one sa’ of water. The previous hadith is also narrated through this second chain.
