حَدَّثَنَا سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ دَاوُدَ , أَخْبَرَنَا ابْنُ أَبِي الزِّنَادِ , عَنْ أَبِي الزِّنَادِ ، قَالَ : قَالَ لِي عُرْوَةُ ، إِنَّ عَائِشَةَ قَالَتْ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " يَوْمَئِذٍ لِتَعْلَمَ يَهُودُ أَنَّ فِي دِينِنَا فُسْحَةً , إِنِّي أُرْسِلْتُ بِحَنِيفِيَّةٍ سَمْحَةٍ " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that one day the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: The Jews should know that there is great flexibility in our religion, and I have been sent with the pure religion of Hanifiyyah.
