حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ , حَدَّثَنَا مَعْمَرٌ , عَنْ إِسْمَاعِيلَ بْنِ أُمَيَّةَ , عَنْ عَمْرَةَ , عَنْ عَائِشَةَ , قَالَتْ : " لَوْ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ رَأَى النِّسَاءَ الْيَوْمَ نَهَاهُنَّ عَنِ الْخُرُوجِ , أَوْ حَرَّمَ عَلَيْهِنَّ الْخُرُوجَ " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that if the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) had seen the condition of the women of today, he would surely have forbidden them from coming to the mosques.
