حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ نُمَيْرٍ , عَنِ الْأَعْمَشِ ، عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ , قَالَ : حَدَّثَنِي الْأَسْوَدُ , عَنْ عَائِشَةَ , قَالَتْ : " رَهَنَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَهُودِيًّا دِرْعًا , وَأَخَذَ مِنْهُ طَعَامًا " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) bought some grain on credit from a Jew and left his armor with him as collateral.
