حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مُعَاوِيَةَ , ، حَدَّثَنَا الْأَعْمَشُ ، عَنْ عُمَارَةَ بْنِ عُمَيْرٍ , عَنْ أَبِي بَكْرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ الْحَارِثِ بْنِ هِشَامٍ ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ , قَالَتْ : " كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يُصْبِحُ جُنُبًا , ثُمَّ يَغْتَسِلُ , وَيُتِمُّ صَوْمَهُ " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that sometimes the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) would be in a state of major ritual impurity (janabah) in the morning, then he would perform ghusl (ritual bath) and complete the fast for the rest of the day.
