حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مُعَاوِيَةَ , قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامُ بْنُ عُرْوَةَ , عَنْ أَبِيهِ , عَنْ عَائِشَةَ , قَالَتْ : قَدِمَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مِنْ سَفَرٍ , قَالَتْ : فَعَلَّقْتُ عَلَى بَابِي قِرَامًا فِيهِ الْخَيْلُ أُولَاتُ الْأَجْنِحَةِ , قَالَتْ : فَلَمَّا رَآهُ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ : " انْزِعِيهِ " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that once the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) returned from a journey and saw that I had hung a curtain on the door of the house, on which there was a picture of a winged horse. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) saw it and said, "Take it down."
