It is narrated from Hazrat Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that once, during his final illness, the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said, "Pour water from seven such water skins over me whose mouths have not been opened, perhaps I may feel some relief, so that I may advise the people." So we seated the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) in a brass tub that was with Hazrat Hafsa (may Allah be pleased with her), and began to pour water from those water skins over the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) until he began to signal to us to stop. Then the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) came out.
