Hadith 25911

It is narrated from Hazrat Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) forbade us from five things: wearing silk and gold, drinking from gold and silver vessels, red saddle cloth, and silk clothing. Hazrat Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) asked, "O Messenger of Allah! If a little gold is mixed with musk?" The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said, "No, you may mix it with silver, then mix it with saffron." Abdullah bin Shaqiq (may Allah have mercy on him) says that I asked Hazrat Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) about the voluntary prayers of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), so she replied that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) ... ... Then the narrator mentioned the complete hadith.
