It is narrated from Hazrat Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that on the day when the illness of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) leading to his death began, the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) came to me from Baqi. I was having a headache, so I said, "Oh, my head!" The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) jokingly said, "I wish that what is to happen would happen during my lifetime, so that I could prepare you well and bury you." I said, "You mean something else; you would spend the night as a bridegroom with another woman that very day." The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) began to smile, and then the illness leading to his death began.
