It is narrated from Hazrat Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that when the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) saw a cloud rising at the edge of the sky, he would leave every task, even if he was in prayer, and would supplicate: "O Allah! I seek refuge with You from its evil." When it cleared, he would offer thanks, and when he saw rain falling, he would say: "O Allah! Let it be heavy and beneficial."
