Hadith 25860

An elder from Banu Sawarah says that I asked Hazrat Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that when the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) would perform ghusl (ritual bath) from impurity by choice, did he consider the water that fell on his head while pouring water over his body to be sufficient, or would he pour fresh water over his head separately? She replied, "No, rather he would pour fresh water over his head separately."
