Hadith 25828

حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ , قَال : َأَخْبَرَنَا دَاوُدُ , عَنِ الشَّعْبِيِّ , قَالَ : قَالَتْ عَائِشَةُ : يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ أَرَأَيْتَ إِذَا بُدِّلَتْ الْأَرْضُ غَيْرَ الْأَرْضِ , وَالسَّمَوَاتُ , وَبَرَزُوا لِلَّهِ الْوَاحِدِ الْقَهَّارِ , أَيْنَ النَّاسُ يَوْمَئِذٍ ؟ قَال : " النَّاسُ يَوْمَئِذٍ عَلَى الصِّرَاطِ " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that regarding this verse "The Day when the earth will be changed to another earth, and the heavens [as well], and they [all] will appear before Allah, the One, the Prevailing" , I was the first to ask the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) about it. I said, O Messenger of Allah! (When the earth will be changed) where will the people be at that time? The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) replied: On the Bridge of Sirat.
