حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ , قَال : َحَدَّثَنَا عَبَّادُ بْنُ مَنْصُورٍ , قَال : َقُلْتُ لِلْقَاسِمِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ : امْرَأَةُ أَبِي أَرْضَعَتْ جَارِيَةً مِنْ عُرْضِ النَّاسِ بِلَبَنِ أَخَوَيَّ , أَفَتَرَى أَنِّي أَتَزَوَّجُهَا ؟ فَقَال : َلَا أَبُوكَ أَبُوهَا , قَال : َثُمَّ حَدَّثَ حَدِيثَ أَبِي الْقُعَيْسِ , فَقَال : َإِنَّ أَبَا الْقُعَيْسِ أَتَى عَائِشَةَ يَسْتَأْذِنُ عَلَيْهَا , فَلَمْ تَأْذَنْ , لَهُ فَلَمَّا جَاءَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ , قَالَت : ْيَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ إِنَّ أَبَا قُعَيْسٍ جَاءَ يَسْتَأْذِنُ عَلَيَّ , فَلَمْ آذَنْ لَهُ , فَقَالَ : " هُوَ عَمُّكِ فَلْيَدْخُلْ عَلَيْكِ " فَقُلْتُ : إِنَّمَا أَرْضَعَتْنِي الْمَرْأَةُ , وَلَمْ يُرْضِعْنِي الرَّجُلُ , فَقَال : َ " هُوَ عَمُّكَ فَلْيَدْخُلْ عَلَيْكِ " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that the brother of Abu Qais, "Aflah," sought permission to enter the house of Hazrat Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her). Hazrat Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) considered him a non-mahram and refused to grant permission. When the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) came, she mentioned it to him, saying, "O Messenger of Allah! The brother of Abu Qais, Aflah, sought permission to enter my house, but I refused to grant permission." The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said, "Allow him to enter." She said, "O Messenger of Allah! The woman suckled me, not the man." The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said, "He is your uncle, allow him to enter."
