حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ , عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ صَالِح , عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ مُهَاجِر , ٍعَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ , عَنْ عَائِشَةَ , قَالَتْ : سُرِقَتْ مِخْنَقَتِي , فَدَعَوْتُ عَلَى صَاحِبِهَا , فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّم : " لَا تُسَبِّخِي عَلَيْهِ دَعِيهِ بِذَنْبِهِ " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that once a thief committed theft in her house, and she cursed him. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Do not make light of his sin."
