Hadith 25784

حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا الْأَوْزَاعِيُّ ، عَنْ عَبْدَةَ بْنِ أَبِي لُبَابَةَ ، عَنْ هِلَالٍ يَعْنِي ابْنَ يَسَافٍ ، عَنْ فَرْوَةَ بْنِ نَوْفَلٍ ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ ، أَنّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَانَ يَقُولُ : " اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ شَرِّ مَا عَمِلْتُ ، وَمِنْ شَرِّ مَا لَمْ أَعْمَلْ " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) used to supplicate: O Allah! I seek refuge in You from the evil of those things which my soul has done or has not done.
