حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي ، عَنِ أَشْعَثَ بْنِ أَبِي الشَّعْثَاءِ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنْ مَسْرُوقٍ ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ ، " أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَانَ يُحِبُّ التَّيَمُّنَ فِي الْوُضُوءِ وَالتَّرَجُّلِ وَالتَّنَعُّلِ " . وَقَالَ وَكِيعٌ مَرَّةً : الِانْتِعَالِ.
It is narrated from Hazrat Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) liked to begin with the right side in all his affairs as much as possible, such as performing ablution, combing his hair, and putting on his shoes.
