Hadith 25756

حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ ، عَنْ هِشَامٍ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ ، قَالَتْ : " مَا خُيِّرَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بَيْنَ أَمْرَيْنِ إِلَّا اخْتَارَ أَيْسَرَهُمَا مَا لَمْ يَكُنْ فِيهِ مَأْثَمٌ " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that whenever two things were presented before the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), and one of them was easier, the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) would choose the easier one, unless it was a sin.
