It is narrated from Hazrat Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that the family of Muhammad (peace be upon him) never filled their stomachs with wheat bread for more than three days, and the Prophet (peace be upon him) forbade eating the meat of the sacrifice after three days. The Prophet (peace be upon him) ordered that those who performed the sacrifice should also give meat to those who could not perform the sacrifice. Later, the Prophet (peace be upon him) permitted it.
