حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ ، حَدَّثَنِي مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عِمْرَانَ الْحَجَبِيُّ ، سَمِعَهُ مِنْ صَفِيَّةَ بِنْتِ شَيْبَةَ ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ ، قَالَتْ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " مَا أَحَلَّ اسْمِي وَحَرَّمَ كُنْيَتِي ؟ ! أَوْ مَا حَرَّمَ كُنْيَتِي وَأَحَلَّ اسْمِي ؟ " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Who is it that has made my name lawful and my kunya unlawful, or who is it that has made my kunya unlawful and my name lawful?
