حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ ، حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامُ بْنُ عُرْوَةَ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ ، قَالَتْ : " قَدِمَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مِنْ سَفَرٍ ، وَقَدْ عَلَّقْتُ عَلَى بَابِي دُرْنُوكًا فِيهِ الْخَيْلُ أُولَاتُ الْأَجْنِحَةِ ، قَالَتْ : فَهَتَكَهُ " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that once the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) returned from a journey and saw that I had hung a curtain on the door of the house, on which there was a picture of a winged horse. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) tore it apart.
