Hadith 25696

حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ ، حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامٌ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ ، قَالَتْ : " كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يُصَلِّي بِاللَّيْلِ وَأَنَا مُعْتَرِضَةٌ بَيْنَهُ وَبَيْنَ الْقِبْلَةِ ، فَإِذَا أَرَادَ أَنْ يُوتِرَ أَيْقَظَنِي ، فَأَوْتَرْتُ " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that sometimes the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) would pray at night while I would be lying between him and the Qiblah, and when he wanted to pray Witr, he would wake me up as well and I would also pray Witr.
