حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ ، عَنْ سُفْيَانَ ، عَنْ عَاصِمِ بْنِ أَبِي النَّجُودِ ، عَنْ أَبِي الضُّحَى ، عَنْ مَسْرُوقٍ ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ ، قَالَتْ : " مِنْ كُلِّ اللَّيْلِ قَدْ أَوْتَرَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : مِنْ أَوَّلِهِ وَأَوْسَطِهِ وَآخِرِهِ ، فَانْتَهَى وَتْرُهُ إِلَى السَّحَرِ ، فَمَاتَ وَهُوَ يُوتِرُ بِالسَّحَرِ " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) has offered Witr in every part of the night, and his Witr also reached up to the time of Suhoor.
