حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ ، حَدَّثَنَا كَهْمَسٌ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ شَقِيقٍ ، قَالَ : قُلْتُ لِعَائِشَةَ أَكَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يُصَلِّي الضُّحَى ؟ قَالَتْ : " لَا ، إِلَّا أَنْ يَجِيءَ مِنْ مَغِيبِهِ " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that I never saw the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) performing the Duha prayer, except that when the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) returned from a journey, he would offer two rak'ahs.
