حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى ، عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ ، عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي مُلَيْكَةَ ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ : " مَا أَصَابَ الْمُؤْمِنَ شَوْكَةٌ فَمَا فَوْقَهَا تَعْنِي إِلَّا كَانَ كَفَّارَةً لَهُ " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Whenever a Muslim is pricked by a thorn or suffers any affliction even less than that, it becomes an expiation for his sins.
