حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ أُسَامَةَ ، قَالَ : أَخْبَرَنَا هِشَامٌ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ ، قَالَتْ : " مَا غِرْتُ عَلَى امْرَأَةٍ مَا غِرْتُ عَلَى خَدِيجَةَ ، وَلَقَدْ هَلَكَتْ قَبْلَ أَنْ يَتَزَوَّجَنِي بِثَلَاثِ سِنِينَ ، لِمَا كُنْتُ أَسْمَعُهُ يَذْكُرُهَا ، وَلَقَدْ أَمَرَهُ رَبُّهُ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ أَنْ يُبَشِّرَهَا بِبَيْتٍ مِنْ قَصَبٍ فِي الْجَنَّةِ ، وَإِنْ كَانَ لَيَذْبَحُ الشَّاةَ ، ثُمَّ يُهْدِي فِي خَلَائِلِهَا مِنْهَا " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that I did not feel as much jealousy towards any woman as I felt towards Hazrat Khadijah (may Allah be pleased with her). She had passed away three years before the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) married me, and the reason for this jealousy was that I used to hear the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) mention her frequently. And the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) was commanded by his Lord to give Hazrat Khadijah (may Allah be pleased with her) the glad tidings of a magnificent house made of wood in Paradise. And sometimes, when the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) slaughtered a goat, he would send it as a gift to the friends of Hazrat Khadijah (may Allah be pleased with her).
