حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَكْرٍ ، قَالَ : أَخْبَرَنَا ابْنُ جُرَيْجٍ ، قَالَ : أَخْبَرَنِي سَعْدُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ أَخُو يَحْيَى بْنِ سَعِيدٍ ، أَنَّ عَمْرَةَ بِنْتَ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ أَخْبَرَتْهُ ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ ، أَنَّهَا سَمِعَتْ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ : " إِنَّ كَسْرَ عَظْمِ الْمَيِّتِ مَيْتًا كَمِثْلِ كَسْرِهِ حَيًّا " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Breaking the bone of a deceased Muslim is like breaking the bone of a living person.
