حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَكْرٍ ، وَالْأَنْصَارِيُّ ، قَالَا : أَخْبَرَنَا ابْنُ جُرَيْجٍ ، قَالَ : أَخْبَرَنِي عُمَرُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُرْوَةَ ، أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ عُرْوَةَ ، وَالْقَاسِمَ يُخْبِرَانِ ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ ، قَالَتْ : " طَيَّبْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بِيَدِي بِذَرِيرَةٍ فِي حَجَّةِ الْوَدَاعِ لِلْحِلِّ وَالْإِحْرَامِ " . وَقَالَ الْأَنْصَارِيُّ : حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ جُرَيْجٍ ، عَنْ عُمَرَ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُرْوَةَ.
It is narrated from Hazrat Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that on the occasion of the Farewell Pilgrimage, I applied "Dhareerah" perfume with my own hands to the Ihram of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) while the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) was entering into Ihram, and after becoming lawful (halal) before the Tawaf al-Ziyarah, I also applied perfume.
