حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ ، حَدَّثَنَا مَعْمَرٌ ، وَابْنُ جُرَيْجٍ ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ ، عَنْ عُرْوَةَ ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ ، قَالَتْ : " كُنْتُ أَغْتَسِلُ أَنَا وَرَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مِنْ إِنَاءٍ وَاحِدٍ ، فِيهِ قَدْرُ الْفَرَقِ " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that I and the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) used to perform ghusl (ritual bath) for janabah from the same vessel of water, which contained water equal to one faraq.
