It is narrated from Hazrat Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that a woman used to come to her who was known for enduring hardship and exertion in acts of worship. When she mentioned this to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Stop! And take upon yourselves only those deeds which you are able to do. By Allah, Allah does not tire, but you will tire. The most beloved deed to Allah is that which is done consistently, even if it is little."
