حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ ، عَنْ طَلْحَةَ بْنِ يَحْيَى ، عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُتْبَةَ ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ ، أَنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ " كَانَ يُصَلِّي وَعَلَيْهِ مِرْطٌ مِنْ هَذِهِ الْمُرَحَّلَاتِ ، وَكَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يُصَلِّي وَعَلَيْهِ بَعْضُهُ وَعَلَيَّ بَعْضُهُ ، وَالْمِرْطُ مِنْ أَكْسِيَةٍ سُودٍ " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that sometimes when the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) would wake up at night to pray, one corner of the blanket would be over the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) and the other corner would be over Aisha, and the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) would continue to pray.
