حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ ، عَنْ مَنْصُورِ ابْنِ صَفِيَّةَ ، عَنْ أُمِّهِ ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ ، أَنّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ " كَانَ يَضَعُ رَأْسَهُ فِي حِجْرِهَا ، وَيَقْرَأُ الْقُرْآنَ وَهِيَ حَائِضٌ " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) used to recite the Noble Qur'an while reclining in my lap, even though I was menstruating.
