حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ ، عَنِ الْأَعْمَشِ ، عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ ، عَنِ الْأَسْوَدِ ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ ، " أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لَمْ يَصُمْ الْعَشْرَ " . قَالَ عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ : وَأَسْنَدَهُ أَبُو عَوَانَةَ ، عَنِ الْأَسْوَدِ .
It is narrated from Hazrat Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) never fasted in the first ten days of Dhul-Hijjah.
