حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ ، عَنْ مَنْصُورٍ ، عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ ، عَنْ عَلْقَمَةَ ، قَالَ : سَأَلْتُ عَائِشَةَ أَكَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَخُصُّ مِنَ الْأَيَّامِ شَيْئًا ؟ قَالَتْ : " لَا ، كَانَ عَمَلُهُ دِيمَةً ، وَأَيُّكُمْ كَانَ يُطِيقُ مَا كَانَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يُطِيقُ " .
Alqamah (may Allah be pleased with him) says that I asked Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) about the voluntary prayers of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him). She replied: "Which of you has the strength that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) had? However, remember that every action of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) was continuous."
