حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ ، عَنْ شُعْبَةَ ، عَنْ أَبِي عِمْرَانَ الْجَوْنِيِّ ، عَنْ رَجُلٍ مِنْ قُرَيْشٍ ، يُقَالُ لَهُ : طَلْحَةُ ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ ، قُلْتُ : يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ، إِنَّ لِي جَارَيْنِ ، إِلَى أَيِّهِمَا أُهْدِي ، قَالَ : " إِلَى أَقْرَبِهِمَا بَابًا مِنْكِ " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that she asked the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), "If I have two neighbors, to whom should I send a gift?" The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said, "To the one whose door is closer to you."
