Hadith 25491

It is narrated from Hazrat Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that sometimes a whole month would pass over the family of Muhammad (peace be upon him) in such a way that no fire would be lit in any of the houses of the Prophet (peace be upon him), except that a little meat might come from somewhere, and for our sustenance there were only two things, that is, water and dates. However, there were some households of the Ansar living around us—may Allah always reward them with goodness—who used to send the milk of their goat to the Prophet (peace be upon him) every day, and the Prophet (peace be upon him) would drink it.
