حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْمَلِكِ بْنُ زَيْدٍ ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ أَبِي بَكْرٍ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنْ عَمْرَةَ ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ ، أَنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ : " أَقِيلُوا ذَوِي الْهَيْئَاتِ عَثَرَاتِهِمْ إِلَّا الْحُدُودَ " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Generally overlook the minor slips of those who are not usually involved in crimes, except in matters concerning the limits set by Allah.
