حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ ، وحَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَامِرٍ ، قَالَا : حَدَّثَنَا زُهَيْرُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ ، عَنْ شَرِيكِ بْنِ أبي نَمِرٍ ، عَنْ عَطَاءِ بْنِ يَسَارٍ ، أَنَّ عَائِشَة قَالَتْ : كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَخْرُجُ إِذَا كَانَتْ لَيْلَةُ عَائِشَةَ إِذَا ذَهَبَ ثُلُثَا اللَّيْلِ إِلَى الْبَقِيعِ ، فَيَقُولُ : " السَّلَامُ عَلَيْكُمْ أَهْلَ دَارِ قَوْمٍ مُؤْمِنِينَ ، فَإِنَّا وَإِيَّاكُمْ وَمَا تُوعَدُونَ غَدًا مُؤَجَّلُونَ قَالَ أَبُو عَامِرٍ : تُؤَجَّلُونَ ، وَإِنَّا إِنْ شَاءَ اللَّهُ بِكُمْ لَاحِقُونَ .
It is narrated from Hazrat Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that once, after half the night had passed, the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) went to Jannat al-Baqi. Upon reaching there, the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Peace be upon you, O abode of a believing people. You have preceded us, and we are also coming to join you."
