حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ ، عَنْ مَالِكٍ ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ الْمُنْكَدِرِ ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ جُبَيْرٍ ، عَنْ رَجُلٍ ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ : " مَا مِنَ امْرِئٍ يَكُونُ لَهُ صَلَاةٌ مِنَ اللَّيْلِ يَغْلِبُهُ عَلَيْهَا نَوْمٌ إِلَّا كَانَ نَوْمُهُ عَلَيْهِ صَدَقَةً ، وَكُتِبَ لَهُ أَجْرُ صَلَاتِهِ " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Whoever gets up to pray at any part of the night and then falls asleep, the reward for the prayer is still written for him, and his sleep is also considered charity for which he is rewarded.
