حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ ، وَحَجَّاجٌ ، قَالَا : حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ ، عَنْ أَبِي عِمْرَانَ ، عَنْ طَلْحَةَ قَالَ ابْنُ جَعْفَرٍ : ابْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ أَنَّهَا سَأَلَتْ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، فَقَالَتْ : إِنَّ لِي جَارَيْنِ ، فَإِلَى أَيِّهِمَا أُهْدِي ؟ قَالَ : " أَقْرَبِهِمَا مِنْكِ بَابًا " . .
It is narrated from Hazrat Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that she asked the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him): "If I have two neighbors, to whom should I send a gift?" The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "To the one whose door is closer to you."
