حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ ، عَنْ خَالِدٍ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ شَقِيقٍ ، قَالَ : سَأَلْتُ عَائِشَةَ أَكَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَصُومُ الْأَيَّامَ الْمَعْلُومَةَ مِنَ الشَّهْرِ ؟ فَقَالَتْ : " نَعَمْ " .
It is narrated from Abdullah bin Shaqiq that I asked Hazrat Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her), "Did the Prophet (peace be upon him) fast on specific days of the month?" She replied, "Yes!"
