It is narrated from Hazrat Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that a woman used to have continuous menstrual bleeding. She came to the Prophet (peace be upon him) and inquired about it. The Prophet (peace be upon him) said, "This is blood from a vein, not menstruation." And the Prophet (peace be upon him) instructed her to combine Zuhr and Asr prayers with one ghusl (ritual bath), and to combine Maghrib and Isha prayers with one ghusl, and to perform Fajr prayer with one ghusl.
