حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ ، حَدَّثَنَا مَعْمَرٌ ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ ، عَنْ مُعَاذَةَ الْعَدَوِيَّةِ ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ ، قَالَتْ : " كَانَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يُصَلِّي صَلَاةَ الضُّحَى أَرْبَعَ رَكَعَاتٍ ، وَيَزِيدُ مَا شَاءَ اللَّهُ " . .
It is narrated from Hazrat Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) used to offer four rak'ahs of Duha prayer and would add to it as much as he wished.
